Growing membership is the lifeblood of any volunteer organization and especially so in emergency services. The FFD answers thousands of calls and alarms each year with some 13 career and 100 volunteer members and we still need more. If you'd like to help, in any way, please stop by the station today and pick up an application. It takes a special type of person, and it isn't for everyone, but it may just be right for you. In addition to the kind of work you would think of...fighting fires, caring and transporting emergency medical cases....we also need administrative members. For example, right now, if you have a special talent in marketing, we could use marketing assistance in our recruiting efforts. It would be a non-responding, Fire Corps position.
